Legal and Ethical Issues:
Copyright is an important issue when it comes to advertising. You must ensure that you haven't taken somebody else's idea and this is important because they may take legal action and sue you (although you may have taken their idea by accident. This is why it is essential that thorough research is carried out). Below, I will be listing legal and ethical issues that may arise during the filming and publishing process:
Music:
If you are planning to release your own advertisement, it is important to select your music wisely. If you are planning to carry out secondary research here, you must ask for the owner's permission to use their music in the background of your own advertisement.
Ideas:
The thought process for organising your own advertisement can be extremely tiring, however you must demonstrate your own ideas thoroughly. Shown below is what you need to take into consideration for when creating your own advert.

- Product placement
Risky Content:
A lot of thought will have to go into our production process since we need to take care. We will need to think about the content we wish to include in our advertisement and ensure that it isn't offensive or inappropriate to our audience .
False Advertising:
False advertising is also a misconception many viewers face. As a group it is our priority to make sure that all of our information and planning is accurate for our customers. False advertising can also affect the consumer and stakeholders as the misinterpretations of the product could lead to expenses being spent unnecessarily.
Product Placement:
This is used by companies to promote their products to consumers by subtly advertising (non traditionally). Product placements are usually presented in film, television and other various forms of media. Product placements are often settled in agreement by the product manufacturer and the media company - giving all the money to that specific media company. A few examples of product placement companies are Coca-Cola and Toyota. Coca-Cola could pay a given fee to have a person drinking the Coke drink instead of Pepsi (for example), whereas Toyota could pay someone to test drive their new car.
